presentation of the GU Engineers Society Medal for 2016
As well as making annual Awards, supporting the cost of Engineering students' Final Year Projects and Postgraduate research, GU68 Engineers Trust has inherited the privileges of Glasgow University Engineers' Society, including presenting the GUES Medal.
At a graduation ceremony in the Bute Hall on 29 June 2016, Trustees Donald Coutts and Chris Gunstone presented the Glasgow University Engineers’ Society Award Medal to Jonathan Marmont, who graduated MEng in Aeronautical Engineering.

The Award is made on the recommendation of the heads of department, subject to the approval by Senate, and the privilege of presenting it currently rests with the GU68 Engineers Trust.
